How to Study Vocabulary for KPSC

Vocabulary is not about memorizing a dictionary; it’s about context.

Use the Root Word Method: If you know "Bene" means good, you can guess that Benevolent, Beneficial, and Benediction are all positive words.

Flashcards: Write the word on one side and its synonym/antonym on the other.

Read Editorial Columns: KPSC English is very similar to the language used in newspapers like The Hindu or Deccan Herald.

Elimination Strategy: In the exam, if you don't know the word, look at the options. Often, three options are synonyms of each other, and the fourth one (the odd one out) is the answer.
